It was a delight to receive Mark Enzer, Mott MacDonald’s Chief Technological Officer and Head of the National Digital Twin programme within the centre for Digital Built Britain. Mark gave an overview of digital transformation in the infrastructure industry as well as how it fits within the wider built environment. He highlighted that digital transformation is fundamentally about people but also about information, processes and technology. Its value lies in making a connection through data between the digital world and the physical world in order to generate insights, enabling better decisions and drawing better interventions.
