About Us

The D Group is a membership organisation for the companies and institutions that make our national ambitions a reality. Through our exceptional networks and convening power, we bring together senior leaders in business, government and academia to meet the challenges of driving the UK’s economic growth.

With a focus on sectors involved in major public projects, we run a first-class events programme that features speakers at the forefronts of their fields. Across our roundtables, lunch and dinner briefings, panels, conferences and other events, we welcome ministers, permanent secretaries, heads of the armed forces, ambassadors, academics and business leaders to speak to our members, always firm in our conviction that collaboration is the key to answering our national challenges. We are based in London and have a regular pattern of additional events across the UK.

Alongside our events, we draw on the breadth and depth of our network to publish reports that make a substantive contribution to the national conversation. As a cross-sector organisation, we can draw on our members’ experience to deliver thought leadership across a number of areas. Whether an interview, think piece or more substantial piece of work, our goal is always to go beyond the ‘what’ to the ‘how’.

We are part of the wider Strategy International Group, which includes: British Expertise International, a membership organisation for UK companies working in emerging and developing markets; the British Foreign Policy Group, a think tank with a particular focus on the interface between UK foreign and domestic policy (including public opinion), soft power and trade; D Contemporary, a gallery focused on supporting contemporary UK and international art; and D-Impact, a not-for-profit initiative dedicated to strengthening the mutually-reinforcing relationship between UK-based enterprise and the Armed Forces and its people.
